I am happy with my work, I think i am having much healthier relationship with my own work - not being THAT MUCH self critical on my own art is definitely a big step! fenny's dairy-free sugar cookies ❄️

⚠️ these aren't vegan they're dairy-free, this recipe does use eggs ⚠️

so i have no idea if this is gonna reach anyone but i love baking and since it's close to the holiday seasons i thought i'd share my adapted recipe i'm obsessed with!! i don't post anywhere else so sharing is caring on tumblr

this dough does not need to be chilled and the total recipe usually takes me 30-45 minutes to make, not including cooling time. you can use regular butter for this recipe i just do dairy-free because i have an allergy

ingredients

• 1 cup dairy-free butter

• 2 cups granulated sugar

• 1 egg

• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• (optional) any type of sprinkles

instructions

1.) pre-heat the oven to 350°F or 177°C

2.) using a mixer, beat the butter and sugar together until somewhat light and fluffy. (i can't seem to get dairy-free butter to cream like regular butter but it always turns out well)

3.) mix in the egg and vanilla until fully combined

4.) add the flour gradually (i usually do 1/2 cups at a time), along with the baking powder and salt. you may need to knead (pun not intended) the dough if your mixer can't get it

5.) pour in sprinkles of your choice if you wish, i've been using the christmas mix my family always has

6.) lay parchment paper onto a baking sheet. measure out dough balls with about a 1 inch diameter and gently press them down until they are 1/2 inch thick

7.) bake for 8-12 minutes (i reccomend starting with 9 and adding 2 minute intervals as needed, but if they are smaller or larger feel free to alter.) (they need to bake until the edges are crisp and the center still shines)

8.) take out to cool and enjoy!!

these cookies can be frosted, but i don't recommend it since they're super sweet already. on the topic of sweet if you want to reduce sugar you could bring it down to 1 1/2 cups but i wouldn't suggest less than that

i got the strap where i get other sex toys at pink cherry bc i wanted to try out smth new but if you’re investing in a good one - i would recommend getting any of the strap-on -me ones first since they’re god quality. both have discreet shipping.

here’s the one i got and here’s the one i reccomend in general.

i bought the harness seperate. got my old harness from a now etsy store but got the new one from rodeoh. linked the one i purchased recently

keep in mind of the straps they’re both “strapless” i.e double ended. hypothetically that means you don’t need a harness but yeah you do lmfao so buy the harness anyway.

i would highly recommend strap on me if it’s your first time using a strap on. i have some experience so experimenting with toys is fine for me but a quality one with good hold will help if it’s your first time using it. good luck 🫡

While recent posts were talking about how Wåt3rst0n3s is okay to 🏋️‍♀️ from, when I went in I noticed a TON of cameras, like almost no blind spots, one in every section of the wall. I know they probably aren't monitored but I still wouldn't want to be on camera so I was thinking of taking things into the bathroom, c0nceal1ng, then leaving (the store has 2 floors, one with no SAs) Do you think that would work despite the cameras? Ty 🫡

i wouldnt reccomend l1fting from a store that has that many cameras. unless you can find a blind spot i wouldnt rlly risk it unless ur not coming back for a while bc some stores have started putting sensors in front of bathrooms to make sure ur not taking merchandise in there. and you wont even notice them bc they can be kind of hidden. trust me it happened to me the other day and there wasn't any visible security things and it still beeped which means it was hidden probs in the walls or something.

Hiya, I hope this isn't too weird, but I just wanted to say, that watching you live blog Lou on Outer Banks today has been so delightful! (And those screen grabs 👀👀👀)

that second ep was definitely better than the first ep (of season 3) bc there’s so much lou! plus i liked what the split plot was doing. i don’t think i’ll go back and watch seasons 1 or 2, but from what i’ve seen i would reccomend the show in general bc the writing and casting and production quality is really great (i love that they filmed on location and whatever filter they’re using really helps set the tone). it’s also more dangerous than i was expecting - they kill people, and the threat of danger feels real, and the s3 badguy is intimidating without being some archetype cartoonish villain (he’s nuanced and i really love the actor bringing those vibes), plus people say fuck which is awesome. 

it is very much based around these teen characters which i know may put some people off, but there's a few other storylines as well. i’d say just watch an ep or two of s3 (i don’t think it spoils anything for previous seasons bc it seems like they've progressed the mystery) and see how you feel. i didn’t expect to be this into bc i don’t really like teen dramas anymore, but this one is an exception. it’s a fun, thrilling watch that keeps you guessing and enteratained.

lou is not in every season 3 episode unfortunately, but he is thee main henchman for the badguy which is great. but i’ll be watching the whole season and probably looking forward to season 4 (especially if it means more lou!) bc i love the treasure hunt element and the pacing of the plot.

Holy shit Strawberry ok!! So right off the bat, I have praise and also some tips!

First, you matched the pace of the song perfectly. Never off beat! The tuning is beautiful, and she sang strongly, but not overpoweringly.

Secondly, tips! The vocalization is singing in a different pitch to the sung lyrics. It's not a glaring problem, and I was still fully able to enjoy the song. But that's always an easy thing to miss, so I always reccomend going through it listening out for pitch changes specifically. Apart from that, you did so damn good! 🥲🫡😭🤌🏻 If this was your first? I can even start to imagine how good you'll be once you get into your stride.

well, i can tell you that it's a rabbit hole that will steal your sleep, sanity, and peace of mind ?

i don't really study it anymore but here are important general things to know:

- mbti memes/media are inaccurate (you're not an intj just bc you like coffee and hate people, etc.) so don't let the stereotypes throw you off

- it's very normal to have mbti crisises and discover that you're a whole different mbti to what you originally thought

- the community is confusing and biased 😭

btw you're right about mbti types being the easiest way to get into typology! i reccomend learning all the mbti types + what their cognitive functions are first, and then thinking about which one you fit the most :)

i guess tests are okay too, but do stay away from 16personalities.com bc it's shamed pretty bad in the community for being stereotypical and inaccurate (which is true) even though the avatars it made are very iconic ✮

iirc you get an ask about it a couple days ago and i just wanted to say that since you are someone who loves both orv and rgu i cannot reccomend umineko enough and i would love to see you go back to it/finish reading 🥺 orv and rgu already have quite a bit of overlap thematically imo but umineko really hones in on those areas and is such an incredible work. sorry for just like showing up in your askbox unprompted with this but i love all three of these works so dearly and this is my new agenda 🫡
